For archival USIA films there is a 12-year window during which they cannot be shown. In addition, the USIA general counsel's office has to clear the films, as many of them contain copyrighted material acquired under contract.

thanks Rick for the additional info.
We are going to screen a collection of contemporary shorts in Berlin at the 13th of August.
Even so the date was choosen by pure chance
it is of course a historical date and we want to show "The Wall" as a reminiscence of the building of the wall.
Therefor I would be glad to have as much information about this movie as possible.

If anyone is in town on the 13th august
